My name is Meredith Oakley and I am a 23 year old artist from West Hartford, Connecticut currently studying at Savannah College of Art & Design in the Illustration MFA program. Prior to SCAD, I received a BA in Art & Design from Sacred Heart University. I work predominantly in a realism style using both traditional and digital mediums, focusing on subjects such as wildlife, plant life, human biology, and psychology. I recently have spent more time in the studio learning various printmaking processes such as lithography and copper etchings as well. I am extremely passionate about the work I do, and take pride in my detail oriented creative process. When I am not creating, I enjoy spending my time partaking in athletics, spending time in nature, traveling, being around family/friends/pets and listening to music.
